Maine DOT says the Bridge Street bridge that A1 is on won't be replaced until (probably) 2019. The diner will be closed during that replacement but I am unaware of any other projects that will required its closure.

Access will be cut off for 20 days but this isn't until 2019.
Last I knew they will be closed for several months while the bridge in Gardiner is widened. However I believe the construction is not slated to start until 2019.
