Do not apply in store. Apply online. Managers will not talk to you in person until you've passed the online test. It's not an easy job. Very busy and purposely understaffed. You will often be left alone during busy times for long periods of time because of lousy scheduling and losers calling in sick all the time. Customers will be pulling u in 4 different directions at the same time. Customers are rude and entitled and lazy. They expect you to know where all 400,000 items are in the store. Pay is not good. You will start at $10 but u can negotiate. However, the managers hands are tied by corporate and he only has a couple dollars per hour to play with. However, specialty jobs like kitchen designer and tool technicians are paid a little more. Also, you will not be hired full time. They like to weed out the losers who don't like to work and call in sick. You have 90 days to prove yourself. If you're lazy, don't bother applying. Good benefits though and bonuses twice a year
