I don't know who the people are that are answering this question, but NO. Pets are NOT ALLOWED. Yet, as a contradiction, dog showings are held there. The police used to patrol the area, not for dogs, but for drug dealings by teenagers. Also a great spot to catch speeders on Spring Hill Dr. But NO pets. SORRY CHARLIE. And you other people advising visitors that it is okay to bring a fuzzy family four legged family member, should not be allowed to voice your OPINION. Try rules and regulations!!!!
Hernando county must hate dogs because there are no dogs at any park except the dog park and you have to pay to use it. There is a sign at veterans that says no dogs except service animals.
No dogs are allowed only service animals already called.
