I am a former employee and I can tell you that Sunshine Thrift Store is a FOR PROFIT company and every 4 weeks the things that haven't sold are DESTROYED!!! ALL DONATIONS SHOULD BE GIVEN TO NOT FOR PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS... The company actually buys their stock by the pound from charities... What a waste when so many are homeless and NEED clothing and other items... Sunshine also DOES NOT GIVE ANY TYPE OF VOUCHERS TO THOSE IN NEED... The Company
It would be nice if an official representative, from the store, would answer your question! It was ONLY written 9 months ago! Maybe none of the profits go to charity!
They claim they donate to a few local charities but they definitely make a huge profit. They're charging $15 for dirty soiled clothes and all of the employees seem pretty disgruntled
