Amazing size and selection. However, it smelled exactly like cat urine in there. The floor people are nice, but thr people behind thr counter were super ignorant and snobby. Lost my business for good. Store was full of gross stained clothing.

I always enjoy a saunter through Sunshine Thrift Store. If you look through the clothing section, you may be amazed at some of the items you find. I got a lightweight, rainproof jacket which I love. At times they have some furniture, pictures, books, & odds & ends that are easily accessible for quick browsing. Not as "retail" as Goodwill has become. Reasonable prices. I'll generally make a quick stop when I'm in the area. Never very crowded. They have a weekly special mark-down for certain items. Handicap parking.

My wife and I have gone here since we've live in Tampa 10 years ago. Always clean, staff is friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable on where items are. The clothes hanging are clean, changing rooms and bathrooms are available for convenience, and parking is easy.

Great prices and friendly staff! After shopping at many thrift stores in the Tampa Bay area I would say this one is the go to place for clothing that most of the time is brand new. I was going there for a suit to wear for Halloween and ended up with a Joseph A banks Mint Condition suit jacket for $6. I wasn't impressed at all with any of the kitchen related items or any of the other housewares, but again great clothing selection and pretty well organized.

I am a former employee and I can tell you that Sunshine Thrift Store is a FOR PROFIT company and every 4 weeks the things that haven't sold are DESTROYED!!! ALL DONATIONS SHOULD BE GIVEN TO NOT FOR PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS... The company actually buys their stock by the pound from charities... What a waste when so many are homeless and NEED clothing and other items... Sunshine also DOES NOT GIVE ANY TYPE OF VOUCHERS TO THOSE IN NEED... The Company
The Tampa Store puts all of its clothing on sale for 1/2 price on the 2nd Thursday each month. The Bradenton store also has their sale on the 2nd Thursday and the St Pete store is the 3rd Thursday. They also have certain color tags that are 50% off every day, the color changes weekly.

Yes they have house decor Christmas very nice clothes some kind of furniture a lot of TVs no mattresses the building is very clean they constantly have new products everyday is amazing you find something different every time you go you find something different constantly they they have 25% discount on Tuesday for seniors, 25% discount Wednesday for military and veterans and don't forget also they have every second Thursday of the month 50% discount and all clothing, but you have to sign for a text message so you can have a coupon for these special discount the coupons are only for the 50% discount on every second Thursday of the month or special days believe me you will get in love. Sunshine Thrift Store the best in the area.😘😉🤗

Sometimes they have store bought costumes, but you can always get stuff to make a costume. I would wait until October for them to put the costumes out
The way I understand it they are a for-profit company that does all the collecting of the donations for three or four different charities they price it sell it 2 converted into Cash and then gives the cash to the charity
They have all kinds of books there. That's the fun part, you may find something of a surprise
