How large is the aquarium? Are there bigger ones in the area other than Monterrey (we've been there already)?

The aquarium is 6,038 m² or a just under 65,000 sq ft. Other than Monterrey, no three aren't any bigger ones in that area.

I think there are 2 floors. In the 1st floor there's an underwater tunnel. It took me 50 minutes to see the entire thing. Don't know how big it is compared to Monterrey

It's pretty small. Academy of Science in golden gate park is much bigger

It was a good size to get out of the heat/ rain if you're in the area. We were with kids 7, 5 and almost 2 and were took almost 2 hrs to go through the entire thing. Adults would probably take about an hour. It is 2 floors and it is well run. The staff really care about the animals.
