The cows were protesting the thickness of the slices, they had no choice but to make them thinner. I would contact the number on the package, not the visitor center. May your slices be thick again!

Is it the chedder you are buying? Different types of cheese are sliced different. There also is thin sliced and thick sliced in some of the cheeses.
Um.... Buy the thick cut instead?
