Even though the park is said to be closed right now for the cold and wet season, are there any portions of the park that is open? My fiancée and I enjoy walking and enjoy nature during all times of the year, especially now with the sun being out.

The park is open all year. The campground portion of the park is closed for winter. Drive in, park your car and walk around. Yes

You can walk all of the park year around. There is a nice trail around where the RV sites are. There is also a nice place along the river where you can walk alway almost all the way to the dam
