It depends. They charge a flat rate of $28.50 if you do not look really heavy. I can usually fill up the back of my pickup truck bed, and that will be it. If you go over 800 pounds, or look over 800 pounds, you have to give them your driver license and a credit card with a 60 dollar deposit when you weigh in. Then you have to get back in line again to get weighed a second time. A bit of a hassle unless you know the weight of your vehicle with you inside the first time. I always keep my weigh sheets in my glove box so I don't have to wait in line a second time. Electronics like big screens are easy. Go to the recycling line and just put them in the electronic container for free.
