There is a small area of flowers that are there for butterflies but as captured butterflies there aren't any. Just depends on the day
I saw a few butterflys but there was not an exibit for them just a nice day and they happened to be there

There is not a specific exhibit dedicated to butterflies or dragonflies but of course they do fly in every once in awhile. The Santa Ana zoo is a great little zoo to take your kids for the day. Especially for the younger ones grab a couple friends walk around the zoo have a lunch and let the kids play. It's a great learning zoo too. I practically raised my kids at that zoo.
