We used to bring our kids there all the time from Days Creek, but now it appears that you have to pay to use the park. Is this true?

Yes. The $5.00 per vehicle fee for day use helps to cover costs of maintenance, custodial etc for the park. Many people who visit are responsible and respectful, others not so much. Thanks for doing your part.
