I'm not sure about a discount for County residents but I was able to get a discount by getting a weekly rate
Veterans receive a 10% discount on a 12 month parking permit. The Department does offer a 2.00 discount on individual campsites to local residence with proof of residency, though it doesn't apply to group camping, yurts, cabins and so on.
