Yes there's a fee, but they do consider if you will be able to care for the pet. If a person cannot help them by paying their adoption fees, I'd think they'd wonder how you could afford to take care of a pet. I'm Very sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my Best Buddy Jan 3rd. I adopted another dog & the shots & checkups aren't cheap. Pets are wonderful to have & I treat mine like family. Good luck. I hooe you consider the costs to own a pet & take Good care of it...
