To be able to purchase legally in the state of Maine the doctor in Hawaii needs to contact the Department of Health and Human Services in the state of Maine and have a special form filled out that says what she is being treated for in Hawaii is in fact something allowed in the state of Maine then yes a valid form of ID in Hawaii as well as your medical cards from Hawaii and that certification form from the Department of Health and Human Services is what you need to be able to purchase legally in the state
In addition to her Hawaii Medical Cannabis Certification, she would need to get the Maine Out-of-State Patient Certification Form. In order to get that, her doctor would need to contact Maine's Medical Marijuana Program office, which is regulated through our Department of Health and Human Services. They would then mail that form to your doctor as long as your wife has one of Maine's qualifying conditions for medical cannabis use. Your doctor would fill it out on behalf of your wife, and then she would bring that original tamperproof medical certification form along with her Hawaii Cannabis Certification and Hawaii ID or Driver's License. With those 3 things, she would be able to visit us and purchase in the state of Maine. We are cash only as well.
