Chelated minerals are bound to something to help your body assimilate them. Trace minerals can be chelated as well (like chelated zinc). Trace Minerals are minerals you body only requires in smaller amounts. If you are referring to Trace Minerals the brand, they are the ionic form which are also absorbed well in the body. Which you use depends more on what minerals are needed, and whether you wish to give the minerals as a liquid or a tablet.
