45-50 mins from downtown Portland. Newberg (10 mins from Saffron Fields)has a choice of motels/hotels and there are several B&Bs in the area as well.

It's about 50 min from Downtown Portland. It's a beautiful drive and worth the 50 min. McMinnville may be a good option for hotels
