Yes dogs allowed and would be ok to get into water but lots of people loss hooks and lures .. I wouldn't want my pups in the water but that's up to you 😉 hope this answer helps
Oh you bet take my dog daily to swim there! In fact I just got done! Last review not true form that lady, there is fishing in every lake just use common sense and take a look around very safe for your pets and lots of room around the lake to hang out Picnic or whatever.
