I own a Nissan Pathfinder 1999. I lost the alarm remote control. The alarm went on and I could not run the car unless it goes off. How can I fix it? The car has on 170,000 miles but it runs well. Is it possble to disable the alarm?

Disconnect the battery and before reconnect open the ignition switch and reconnect and start the car

I went already to a Nissan dealer and they said that it not possible to fix it any longer bec. the car is past its repairable stage. They even told us to junk it. But it runs very good and did not have any repair problems until this happened.

I suggest you call the Service Dept at Glendale Nissan and get help.
