As of now, it is not open due to COVID. Kindly check online for more information. Even though the tower is closed there is a small pathway of steps that you can take from the Tower to the Historic Telegraph District with lovely views while descending. It is a bit hidden from view. Kindly look closer to see the signs if you are interested.
You can walk around the area but the tower itself is still closed.
It's currently closed but when they reopen you just have to pay to ride the escalator up
