I take receipt and item to customer service. Most stores will usually give you credit, this is the only way I know of to do this.
That's never happened to me. However, if you haven't used the batteries, I'd take them back, get a refund and buy the ones on sale.
It is true. And you don't need a receipt . Just show them your card and they will know if you purchased it or not and how much you paid for it. They will either give you the difference in cash or credit your account. Depends on your original payment method.
I don't think Costco checks all their purchases in order to automatically process refunds for any items that go on sale. That seems like a lot of extra work since there are thousands of items that are sold through a Costco store. From some brief research I did online it looks like there is a 30-day window to do a price check on purchases. However, you will need to go in yourself and ask for the price change refund. You will likely also need your original receipt to do this so they can mark the the partial refund the item received. I read that some stores allow you to request a duplicate receipt and use that to request the price change, however some stores require you to have an original receipt. If you ever ran into the situation where you lost your original receipt and needed to request a price change you could simply return the item and rebuy it at the reduced discount price.
I've never heard that.
I think so
I dont know i dont have a membership at costco so i cant buy anything from there
