I was wondering if you might consider letting people bring their dogs back into Throncrag under the condition that they clean up after their pets and pay you a monthly fee for using the trails?

Great idea! But this is not monitored by the people that manage Thorncrag. I think we should pursue this!!!

I boughtg a house across from thorncrag. I also have dogs, I see other pet owners don't clean up after pets, but also don't use leashes.. this is a big deal when wild life is involved. Some people believe, oh it's a park.. I don't need a leash on my dog, he's a good boy..we also seen quite a few deer..so I'm good with my dogs not going here..

I'm most likely moving to Lewiston from Portland. We have all kinds of great places to bring dogs down here. I grew up in Lewiston and its unfortunate that they closed Thorncrag off to people with dogs.... My guess is because people weren't being responsible and picking up after their pets. Just a thought, but I would definitely be willing to pay the land owners a fee and sign whatever waivers they need in order for me to bring my dog there to play.
