Every child is different. You as a parent will know when they are ready for horses. I feel it is a good idea to introduce them first to see there reaction and go from there. Every one is welcome a Canyonside Ranch
We actually found a place that spexializes on children. I believe they start at age 3. We took our daughter just nefore her 5th bday and she did great. They teach them how to care ans respext thr anaimals as well as ride them. Of course each child is different in what works sor them.
