Marco, with the Miami Dade Public Library Card you can get the FREE MUSEUM PASS. Thats how I always go to THIS museum and many others for free. 1 pass is good for a family of 4 (either kids or adults). Good Luck :)
First Thursday of every month is free. Also with a bank of America card you get one Monday a month free I believe.
Free entrance is limited to members of the museum, first responders and MDC teachers. Library passes are a good option, but the website lists all available discounted and free entry options. Take a look at the plan your day page.
