We just bought a Samsung Tab A 7" Tablet. It was an open box deal. Told me we have 15 days to return it. I decided to get it setup and charged. When I first turned it on it was at 66%. Shows that it is charging. Hasn't got over 62% two hours.

A lot of times I see those open boxes with 3rd party chargers so I would check your block and make sure it's the correct volt and amp for your device.

Took it back. The guy I talked to wasn't very knowledgeable. It turned out all of the 7" Samsung Tab A tablets were 5.11. 8 and 10 inch both had Android 7. Another thing I read is no updates after 18 months. The tablet was made March 2016. I got the 8", maybe that done on purpose. I powered the tablet off and it charged finally. Odd??

If it is still within the 15 day window I would bring it back and have them verify that all the ORIGINAL equipment is involved, if it's not I would eithwr get your money refynded or ask for a additional discount off what you paid for it. You can also go onto Samsung's website and order the correct charging cord, but start with Best Buy. Good Luck!

I would leave it on the charger over night to see if will be fully changed by morning, if not changed by then take it back and get another one that does what it is supposed to do.

Are you using the charging block that came with the tablet?
