If they are not able to keep up with snow removal vs the amount coming down, then yes but it's very rare due to this area not getting much precipitation/snow. We do have delays when the incoming flights are having trouble at the take off location (e.g. Denver during a snow storm will delay the flight to Pasco.)
Victoria, a great way to stay up to date is on our website at www.flytricities.com. The site provides updated flight information. We have had to close the airport due to heavy snows or freezing rain, but closure is rare.
