They probably do that for security reasons. They are 24 hours so the don't want to have cash on the premises. Eliminates the risk and it's safe for their employees.
Like Kevin said they do that because they don’t want to get robbed as they’re open 24/7. Mad crackheads up at night. And it’s convenient. How are y’all paying for Netflix? Smh. It’s not that deep “moneyless society” lol
Aubrey, I offered to pay my membership fees and one year up front and they declined. As you can see, we are coming to a money-less society and the public is accepting it, "AS KOOL". I myself make every effort to continue to make my payments by mail, in person, person to person, and in cash. Keep watch?? Have a wonderful day 😋
They do that to take advantage of what u sign with out u knowing.. i reported them to BBB when i sign up they were going by "no fees, no contracts" whicg was a lie , when i wanted to cancel 4 month in, they told me i had to pay fees for canceling early , and since they asked me to sign on there electrinic pad i couldnt read what i was signing .they suck
I had the same problem . im a cash guy myself . I had to get a prepaid debit. Card but it is still cheaper than the other gyms . GOOD LUCK TO YOU AUBRY
I don't rememer planet fitness having a no contract or month to month membership. I have been waiting for something like that. When I signed up it was a special for no application fees. But they do require a credit card. After your contract term it then goes to month to month. You can actually read the contract in your online account. I have been to several different gyms and the one place i know that was no contract was fitness 19 although still need a credit card and if you cancel it needs to be in writing 30 days in advance. You can not do it over the phone.
