I received a call from the FTC today asking if ClearPath is offering their clients an incentive (gift card, waive a fee, etc.) in exchange for positive online reviews. Can anyone confirm this?

FTC is the Fair Trade Commission. They offered me an Amazon gift card if I gave them a 5 star review on Google or Yelp and I guess that is illegal?

Not sure what FTC is. Fare trade Commission?? I never received any call from them, that is FTC. And don't have any idea about gift cards. I gave them a good review because they deserved it. Hope this helps.

I have never heard of them providing anything for reviews. Personally, I know they have representatives contact each borrower after their loan closes to conduct a survey and gather information about how they can improve their services - I think that in itself is a great service.

I wouldn't put it past them. They are a pretty shady company. They sent me a letter pretending to be my current lender.
