Depends how much tou would like to see and do you and family take time to get to know each animals. We were 3 families with 7 kids and two grandparents. Got in at 9 and left at 3:30. We mostly look for what kids wish to see plus some inputs from adults. Cable cart and bus ride are fun to ride for the kids.
If you have kids and babies with strollers about two days of your going a casual pace. You can visit the whole zoo in a day if you are determined and very healthy. If you are traveling with by yourself or with other adults and older kids you should easily get the whole zoo in a day. There are a ton of slopes and steep pathways and made it difficult for those traveling in a stroller. But it's a fun and great visit. Good luck!
At least two full days. For the big cats and bears, go very early or much later in the day since they tend to be sleeping in their dens during hottest times of the day. Then there is Safari Park, which is another part of the zoo. It can take a day. Of course all this depends on how mobile and healthy you are.
At less three times
6 hours if you skip the escalators. You can start with the double decker buses. See the whole zoo in a little over and hour. Then walk the whole thing or just see exhibits that interest you. Lastly you can finish it off with a Arial gondola ride to see the width of the park. Rides are included. IT IS A 7 MILE WALK TO SEE ALL THE EXIBITS!
Aleast 2 days.
The bus tour, which makes a loop through most of the zoo, will let you see 80% of the zoo very quickly and easily. Recommend sitting on right side of bus near front to get the driver's perspective. If you want to walk about and take it all in, plan on 2 days. Get the plus pass so you can also do the 4D movie.
Its a big zoo 4 hours to do maybe 5 hours
