Hi, Norman! Yes! Military discounts are valid every day of the year, including ALL holidays! Visit as often as you wish! Active duty U.S. Armed Forces personnel* receive all the benefits of our 1-Day Pass admission to the San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park upon presenting a Common Access Card (CAC) or Uniformed Services ID Card at our gates. Complimentary admission is reserved exclusively for active duty service members upon presenting valid ID. Military spouses and eligible dependents receive a 10% discount off the 1-Day Pass at both the Zoo and Safari Park and do not need to be accompanied by an active duty member of the Armed Forces. Just show your valid dependent ID card at any ticket window! Retirees and veterans: We do not offer a discount, having already done so during one's years of active service; however, we work with MWR Departments on board local military installations to offer discount packages for U.S. military families, retirees, veterans and others. 15% discount for day pass or for the annual pass. There are also wheelchairs/scooters for rent if it helps. Day pass includes unlimited guided bus tour (no stops 30-45 mins long) and kangaroo bus stops (4 stops throughout zoo to help minimize some of the travel). Scooters can't fit on kangaroo bus but will for the tour. Hope that helps! (Also bring water and snacks!)
