Yes! We purchased a 2-Day Pass, which was used to visit the San Diego Zoo one day and the Sandiego Zoo Safari Park another. However, you can use the 2-Day pass to visit one of the zoos twice. The nice thing about this is it's a little cheaper for the 2-Day package and you don't have to go back-to-back days. You have to make your two visits within 5 days. We went on a Friday and a Sunday for example.
