Fairly level. But there are hills. But they have elevators also ..
Extremely hilly terrain. I am still looking for whomever designed the pathways. They deserve a good beating.
Plus they have a free bus tour if you don't feel like doing a lot of walking.
There are quite a lot of hills. Those in the know plan their track to avoid the killer uphill climbs, Of which there are a handful. The zoo map legend Indicates uphill and wheelchair friendly routes.
There are areas such as the Lion Trail, all down/up hill. The back area, all up or down hill. There are elevators as well as escalators. Also, you can ride the tour bus BUT I like the Kangaroo Jumper (ask about it, not sure of name, but, Kangaroo is in it) because you can get on and off as you please. It does cost separately or if you buy a certain annual pass. Don't forget the Skyfari.
Depends on where you walk. There is also a bus that has stops around the zoo, so if you get tired you can hop on the bus. Just remember to buy a ticket at the kiosk near the entrance.
You can choose your path now. There are many ways to get around to the same place.
Depends on where you walk, but everything is evenly paved.
