The trail is an uphill dirt road. It is dusty and exposed to the sun but being a dirt road, it is plenty wide and you can go at your own pace.
The trail itself is not that difficult. Parking can be hard to find and it can be a hike in itself if you have to park far away and then walk to the trailhead. It's very hot and you're exposed to the elements so wear a hat, sunscreen, and bring lots of water!
It's a 3.5 mile hike round trip if you stay on the main trail and hike to the end before it becomes private property
15 minutes
You can hike for hours or just as little as 10 minutes and you will be able to see many scenery already
How old? I'm 54 and I did it just fine. There were people older than me out there also. It's all uphill at the start, but it's not too bad. Its plenty wide to go slow. Take water. We went Monday and it wasnt too crowded.
It's open. Better to go during the week. Weekend is crazy. The earlier the better for parking.
Its shut down now
