Yes there's huge parking lots on both sides as long as you get there early
The RV parking is in Shelter Island there are 2 different ones like 10 to 15 minutes away.
I'm sorry I wish I could answer that for you but unfortunately I was to busy watching the traffic it was crazy, I didn't notice any RV parking.
I am not sure about the boardwalk but there is an overnight parking on shelter island which is about 15 minutes from the boardwalk.
