The road from Ione is near impassible and I have an AWD Honda car. High clearance trucks would be best - but not with a camper. Sept 2020 the roadside growth has grown all the way into the middle of the road, and the center road growth is as high as 4’ in places. The road became narrower and narrower - and with 5.2 miles left on my gps - I carefully turned around and headed to the Colville side entrance.
The road from the east is good. No major holes some wash board spots.
