Great place for a mellow stop. Don't expect to make reservations, but a great option for a stopover.

Nearest major airport is in Spokane, about 75 miles away; but St. Maries does have a small airport for propeller-type airplanes.
I think they tend to close in early October (but I don't work there, so take that with a pinch of salt).
