Needing to ship a large oil painting. What Is the best way to secure it's arrival? How should I prepare the wrapping to also secure it's arrival is not damaged?

Wrap with multi layers of bubble wrap with a heavily taped heavy duty cardboard outer layer. Be sure to write fragile in multiple places on outside of package. Or take to a pack & shiosrore & have them properly package for shipping. It might cost a little more but...
