Yes actually you can call head to put your name on the list in case it's busy and you will be taken as to where you are on the list. Not required but holidays it's a nice idea to do to avoid a long wait.

We just ate there and asked they said it's not necessary but wise if several people holidays and busy times it's good to do so.
