Can I get my money back if I purchased something with a gift card

If you have the receipt they will let you get something else that is the same price or higher you just pay the amount it's over . Have to go to the service counter

You should be able to get the purchase amount on another gift card if you have the receipt showing the item purchased and the amount. Walmart policy is not to give a cash refund for a giftcard payment.
