They take in free inventory, compare what they get on the internet on Amazon or Ebay. Over price these items that are "donated" then as they sit on shelves for certain lengths of time, the price is lowered incrementally?! What needs to be done is to donate to other locations like The Salvation Army, Restore or that Veterans donation place, I do because with all the free inventory and 7 figure CEO salaries in a company that says they employ the handicapped and working underprivileged for wages that should be embarrassing, I think donators are the biggest part of the problem....
I shop at Goodwill to support worker training and be part of the recycling stream. But I donate mostly to a tiny, volunteer-run store that conteibutes all if its proceeds to several, local charities
