I am from Arizona, never been deep sea fishing ever I am super interested. This is most likely a rookie question but is all fishing gear something I need to invest in before trying to go on a charter or how does that work?

My husband and son just enjoyed a half day fishing charter with Colletta. We were visiting from Idaho, and every single thing they needed was included. Their fishing Captain, Hale, was amazing, and though it wasn't a super day in terms of catches, the boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves. My only comment would be....wear warm clothes! It was a mild day in San Diego, but out on the water it was quite a bit chillier. Hale and his crew member were very professional and really hunted the fish. Could not say enough good things about Colletta and Captain Hale!

Colletta, like most professional charters, provided all the equipment we needed, including rods, tackle, and bait. You should expect this unless you're told otherwise. There will also be a captain and a mate on board to show you what you need to do and to help out as needed.

Great question! Everything is included in our charters except food, beverage and a one day fishing license 16+-. Any other questions please do not hesitate. Captain Chris
