You can find it and take it to a shelter or a rescue place that will give it a foster home
They most likey won't take it as they already have plenty of ball pythons and are having a hard enough time finding buyers for those. They might be more interested in more exotic snakes. You should call to confirm, but chances are slim that they will take it. You might want to try calling LLL Reptile and Supply in Mission Valley.
Pet kingdom will occasionally take donated reptiles, but that is subject to a couple variables. Best to give them a call.
