I agree, half a day to do the Maritime Museum.
Half a day or 3 to 4 hours is accurate. I just went there 3 weeks ago, and spent 4 hours, and could have spent even a little more time, but allowing half a day is good. They're open later than the USS Midway, so go there first thing, then to the Maritime museum, after lunch at Seaport Village, perhaps. Have fun!
1/2 day with USS Midway, then The Fish Market for a late lunch.
I would do three or four hours.

It all depends on what are you planning to do, if you are visiting only 2 hrs sounds fine, but if you are planning on touring in one of the ships it would be more than that. As an example de beautiful Spanish Galleon named "San Salvador" hosts tours that last 4 hrs.
