You can freeze lettuce, why would you? If you were in a restaurant and you saw "dead, frozen oysters" on the menu, would you order them? Fresh or not at all!
You can, but depends how you want to serve them.
Be sure to remove the pearl first!
Of course you can freeze oysters. Vacuum sealing will give you more fresh longevity.
You can freeze raw meat, but the taste isn't as good after dethawing it as it would have been cooked fresh.
