Dust the screen lightly with micro fiber or swiffer duster. Proceed to clean any smudges or fingerprints, etc off the screen with a special screen cleaning formula and a micro-filament cloth (similar to what you clean sunglasses with). On the upper end TVs, most have anti-glare films on the screen so you DO NOT want to use a microfiber rag to clean off spots or smudges.
Never use Windex and don't clean it while it's still warm our on.
