South shore's has no fire pits if you mean fiesta island holiday weekend so do get busy but we always find one
I ride my bike in that area on the weekends during the spring to fall.. On a regular non-holiday weekend it seems there are plenty of spots available up to about 9:30 am. It busy usually at 11:00 and later. For holiday weekends it's super popular and campers litter the parking lots and park on the streets even early So I don't advise holiday weekends.
Not sure during the week but you'll have to be early on Saturday and Sunday (before 11:00am🤗
