How do I attach the front license plate on a Model Y? My Y came with 1 license plate holder for the rear. Washington state sent me 2 plates and they say the front one needs to be attached. How?

I opted to purchase the Bandit mentioned above for my Model Y, and I'm really pleased with the fit/finish/ease of installation. It's a bit much for a 3D printed license plate holder, but it does its job well. Check out the Model Y subreddit for pictures.

On my model 3, there was a black plastic license plate holder that is taped onto the front bumper. I would have guessed it would be the same for the model Y. But there probably is a contactless license plate that you can buy for the model Y called "slipstream" or another type called "the law" or another called "the bandit". But in washington the law has a loophole that if your car doesnt have a built in license plate holder for the front you don't have to have the front plate installed. That's why you see many fancy cars that don't install the front plate. Just keep it in the car and say you hadn't gotten around to put it on yet if you get pulled over and they try to cited you for it. On my 3 I bought the law, from torklift the guys that make it in WA state and I also found a slipstream knock off.
