My vehicle came with a kit for sealing a flat. The sealant has an expiration date that past long ago. What are the pros and cons of a product like Fix-A-Flat which is much cheaper to replace?

They won't say anything if you use that stuff but they will not be very happy with you if you do

Those are temporary only. Les Schwab fixes flats for free if it's not sidewall.
