Most of the birds at Sparky's are hand tamed. Not all, because Sparky also helps owners rehome birds who need more TLC than others. I recently brought home my guy, Baloo from Sparky' s. He is exactly everything I was hoping for! Sparky and his staff are very knowledgeable about each bird they sell, and If there are any unknowns they are quick to let you know about that, too!
They are fantasic with letting people handle birds. I take my autisic son in because they do allow touching and holding. Great store
This shop is awesome about letting you handle the birds. I have never seen so many free roaming in my life. We seriously thought they were fake the first time we went in because there were so many. The best part is that the staff doesn't try to pretend that the birds are angels that won't hurt a fly. They are very honest and they know every bird very well. They demonstrate on themselves freely so you know what to expect and they help you very closely. We saw lots of first timers who were genuinely scared to even touch a bird. The staff was kind and helpful with kids as well. This place is amazing even if you don't plan to buy a bird. It's incredible to see the amazing variety they have and how much they love them. It's a highlight to go there!!!!
This is an amazing place. A lot of the birds will let you hold them. The staff will help you navigate which one.

Birds like us are inviduals, so level of taminess depends on how theyve been handled and what the enviroment is. Not all tame birds want to be handled. Birds often will test you with a bite motion to see if they can trust you. The birds they do have available at Sparkys can be handled but again vary individual to individual. They require you to be 16+ or with an adult to be inside.
