My husband and I have been stopping in, off and on at Sparky’s for years now. Mostly just to visit the birds and to get more tid bits of education on these feisty feathered friends from Sparky. Lots of an arrangement of toys and good foods for any size bird(minus the ostrich, don’t know about that one). If you’ve never been there before and you first go in, these guys aren’t what you would call a typical pet store(petco etc). So most of the time you will have to go to them if you have a question, they are probably busy with a bird or two or answering someone else’s questions. But they are really nice and have loads of info. just try to be patient and they will get to you. The reason I did not give them a 5 is only for that reason. I do feel even if they are busy they should a least acknowledge the customers a little more.

One of my favorite places to go! So cool to be able to interact with all the birds and learn about different breeds and their quirks!! Owner is fun to talk to and the employees are friendly and ready to help, plus the selection of food, toys and supplies are the best!

Sparky's has some of the best customer service that I have experienced. Shawna, Autumn and Alexis are absolutely amazing and they love the birds that they work with. They have gone above and beyond to help us with our little flock and I greatly appreciate them all.

OMGoodness, this was the best day ever! Pepper the macaw was totally being a flirt and they have the most adorable and cuddly conures I've ever snuggled. Thanks so much for an amazing experience! Love you guys!

Yes, the owner is awesome at re-homing birds. He seems very compassionate about the birds he cares for
Call to ask what birds they currently have. They have all supplies in abundance.
They currently have a couple pineapple love birds right now
Sparks can get you in touch with some of the breeders, he does sale good quality bird food treats and toys for your feathery family members, also it is a great place to ask questions about birds and they do have birds that you can handle, Rocky is one of my favorites. Sparkys is the only bird store I buy my supplies from for my baby feathery family members. I like the fresh variety of bird seed, their bird seed does not sit on the shelves for months, or years like some stores let happen. My Grandsons beg me to take them to Sparkys. They love the birds and the owner and staff, especially Jo are amazing.
Sparky does not sell birds anymore but he knows breeders in this area breeder
Most of the birds at Sparky's are hand tamed. Not all, because Sparky also helps owners rehome birds who need more TLC than others. I recently brought home my guy, Baloo from Sparky' s. He is exactly everything I was hoping for! Sparky and his staff are very knowledgeable about each bird they sell, and If there are any unknowns they are quick to let you know about that, too!
Awesome Bird store, nothing even compares
I'm pretty sure he doesn't have one for sale in the store, but I would definitely let him know you are looking, he has lots of "ins" and baby season is coming up!
Not usually... Normally a small selection of hand raised larger parrots. Your best bet is to give them a call or go in and browse! It's always an amazing trip!
Sparky sometimes has ringnecks... Not currently. I would suggest going in and checking out the store and talking to Sparky and his staff! There is no better place in town to get excited about parrots! I believe his primary breeder does have ringnecks and you could get in touch with her!
Sparky does grooming, he is great with the birds! I can't speak to the cost, but I am sure it is very reasonable!
Sparky's is great bet they can help
Most likly call him first. Be is very knowledgeable of programs.
They have them from time to time that need to be re homed
I believe so
The last couple times I've been in there was a bird getting a nail trim. Also lots of birds for sale (quakers the last time I was there).
They have several breeders that bring in babies to sell quite often.just call the store when you are about ready to buy.
Not currently but they rotate their birds pretty frequently!
The store no longer sells or trims birds, best selection for products (food/toys/perches/ect) though!
Go to Sparkys, it's specializes in birds, it's on Wellesley, across the street from the northtown mall.
Sparkys doesn't sell birds anymore but they do have information on breeders in the area that they used.
You wont find one here, but they can run anywhere from 75- to $150 depending on breeder and whether or not it is hand tame. I would highly suggest you look on craigslist and rescue as opposed to buying a baby though. There are so many awesome rescues that need homes.
No bird sales at sparkys anymore but they do have a board with multiple different local birds for sale and breeders .
They no longer purchase birds or sell them.
No, they stopped selling birds in February
Can I get a Indian ringneck from here
They do not offer the service anymore but if you call they will give you the phone number someone who does.
Have a few birds for sale. Once gone think no more bird sales.
I think he has some right now and he does know all the local breeders so he can put you in touch with the right people. He is currently raising the last clutches before he changes to just selling supplies. He is no longer going to sell birds or take care of others birds. This is a great little store and he hand raises the chicks he has in the shop.
They usually have an assortment of parrots. If not, they can tell you the breeder info. NOTE they will stop doing bird sales in Feburary 2019.
They stopped selling birds
You would have to call. As with all pet stores thier inventory changes.
Oh okay, thank you. I will have to go and check it out
Yes they do . I did.
You will have to give Sparky's a call to find out what birds they have available as it changes from day to day.
Try breeders.com they have a few you might like and its cockatiel.
What's that?
No appointment necessary, but, I always call ahead just to make sure I avoid showing when others have appointments. As far as air quality goes, I travel the nation with my bird, i almost always have the air circulating when i drive through cities, congested areas. Right now. I am on the West Coast, and I have it circulating full time because of the forest fires. BUT!! VERRY IMPORTANT!! I replace the cabin air cleaner filter(s). Many people never do this or even know they exist and that some vehicles have more than one. Any bird owner that travels with their bird and circulates air should do this often. Toxins build in these filters. If you have kids you should do this. Shoot, you should do this for youself. BTW, these are not the same filters replaced with an oil lube.
Make a filter fan, from youtube.
You should really call Sparky's about this. They are very knowledgeable.
The types of birds they sell varies. They arent like a petco or petsmart. Their birds are from personally trusted and registered breeders. Most, if not all are hand tame, and are very sweet. You cam always give them a call and ask, the will even wright down your contact info and call you back when they get them in!
Buy some ping pong balls as replacement eggs, the hen will stop laying eggs and it'll calm their hormones. Try not to give them more than 12 hrs light and take away areas to nest.
Sparkys can give you good advice for that
Small birds are $10 big birds is $20. They are wonderful there!
Possibly, don't know for sure. They will help you sell your bird and I believe it can include you keeping some of the money. It's a negotiation up front from what I understand. They work very hard to find a good home.
You will jave to call the store.
Their available birds change daily so its best to visit the store directly or talk to someone at sparkys about a species your looking for and they can let you know if one becomes available.
Or pop in. ...it's worth the trip! It's like a magical place where you can interact with all types of birds!
