I just came back from SD Whale watching I am 69 years old and disabled. The staff were very helpful assisting me down the ramp and into the boat. I sat inside in a comfortable booth and had 7 separate sightings .some times the same whale the same whale multiple timesm. Well worth the trip.
The boat has plenty of seating to watch from. But loading and unloading thr boat requires the ability to walk up and down a few stairs. There is also a upper deck to view from but it cost a bit extra to access and requires more stairs to reach.
There is not a ramp to enter the boat but you can sit inside the boat to feel more secure
